Whenever my clients are feeling stuck, I like to take them to the future.
Don't worry. No Uncle Rico time machines here! 😜
Just imagine yourself as the person you want to be 10 years from now. Imagine you have accomplished all the things that you wanted to and you have become the person you want to be.
What do you look like?
What do you say?
How do you interact with your husband and children?
What do you think about?
What do you wear?
What is important to you?
What doesn't matter as much as you thought it did?
What have you stopped doing?
What have you started doing?
What do you eat?
How do you treat people?
How do you treat yourself?
Now, after you have a clear picture of who this person is, write a letter to yourself from this future version of you.
