Do you ever look around you and wonder, "If my life is so good, why do I struggle so much?" or think, "I don't have a real reason to be sad, what's wrong with me?"
My teacher Brooke Castillo told us that she knew she had something to offer the world. She looked at her friends who were building schools in Africa and wondered if that's what she should be doing. But she realized that although that is a very noble thing to do, there is so much suffering right at home. She felt her calling lay right here, among people who seemingly had nothing to complain about. We have roofs over our heads, we have clean drinking water, we have people that love us, but still we suffer.
Some of us are functioning well enough that we don't feel like we need to see a psychiatrist or talk to a therapist. Or maybe you do, and you still feel like you could need some extra help. Who calls the psychiatrist to say, "My kids are really annoying. Can you help with that?" Not many of us.
If you have a great life, but want to take it to the next level, a life coach is for you.
If you can't understand why you make goals but never follow through, a life coach is what you need.
If you are angry at your children and husband about things you don't want to angry about, then a life coach can help you.
There is NOTHING WRONG with you.
Your brain is working exactly how it's designed to. But if we aren't paying close attention, sometimes we get in our own way without even realizing what's happening.
I'm a life coach. My calling is to help people just like you create the best life possible.
